SealBoss FlexGel Hydrophilic NSF LV Gel
SB FlexGel is a low viscosity, single component hydrophilic polyurethane gel offering excellent penetration properties, superior flexibility and durability.
At a mixing ratio of 1 part SealBoss® FlexGel to 10 parts water by volume, the mixed product has a super low viscosity of 50 cps. The product is capable of incorporating large amounts of water into itself, thereby forming a waterproofing hydrophilic gel.
The ability of SealBoss® FlexGel to swell and increase in volume due to water absorption is one of the important features that differentiate hydrophilic grouts from their hydrophobic counterparts.
FlexGel can be used neat. The hydroactive product will react and expand on contact with very small amounts of water creating a hydrophilic foam/gel depending on the counter pressure.
SealBoss FlexGel is certified for water contact in accordance with NSF standard 61, for contact with potable water.
FlexGel is our high quality hydrophilic gel product. It can incorporate large amounts of water when premixed or react with just very small amounts of moisture similar to our hydrophobic foam products.
FlexGel is very stable when cured and can endure dry environments post cure without failure.
FlexGel is an excellent choice for curtain and bladder injection as well as underneath slabs which we refer to as blanket injection. The product can form a flexible and durable membrane along the positive side of the concrete structure which withstands wet and dry cycles very well. In addition, Flexgel resin absorbed by dirt acts as a strong soil stabilizer.
The product can also be used for crack injection in certain applications.
