The SealBoss ® SwellCaulk SwellTape Construction Joint Sealer Page with Video (Link) SealBoss ® SwelllCaulk	SealBoss ® SwellCaulk is a single component, hydrophilic, water activated, hydro active, expandable, gungrade waterstop. The product is formulated for sealing construction joints, pipe penetrations and other concrete joints of smooth and uneven surfaces. Material cures and swells in the presence of moisture or water thereby creating a compression seal. Curing time decreases with higher temperatures and greater relative humidity. SealBoss ® SwellCaulk will cure in approximately 24 to 36 hours depending on ambient climate. The prodcuct is supplied in sausages or in cartridges. The product is for professional use.	The SealBoss ® SwellCaulk Waterproofing Principle When in contact with water, SealBoss ® SwellCaulk Sealants develop an expansive swelling pressure. The pressure between the expanding SwellCaulk and the surrounding concrete structure prevents the penetration of water through the joint and provides a durable waterproofing solution.

Hydrophobic Example

SealBoss® 1510 WaterStopFoam mixed with SealBoss® 15x Accelerator is a hydrophobic water-activated, (hydroactive), water cut-off grout and foam seal grout based on a MDI polyurethane. The resin is 100% solvent free and 100% solids. The gel-time of the product is adjustable by the mandatory adding of a certain percentage of SealBoss® 15x Accelerator. SealBoss® 1510 WaterStopFoam is NSF/ANSI 61 Drinking Water Contact Approved. Upon contact with water SealBoss® 1510 WaterStopFoam reacts to a semi flexible foam while expanding its volume 30 to 40 times. The cured material is of a constant volume. Since water is not a component of the foam structure, the cured material is essentially not effected by water or dryness. The reacted material essentially does not shrink or swell. The product can be used for the filling of voids, cracks and honeycombing in stone or concrete structures, and can be applied as a nonshrink, high strength soil stabilization grout when used with a reduced accelerator ratio. The moisture content of the soil must be sufficient to ensure reaction. Ask your SealBoss® technician for details. The product is for professional use.

Hydrophilic Example 1

SealBoss® FlexGel Hydrophilic NSF LV Gel is a low viscosity, single component hydrophilic polyurethane grout offering excellent penetration properties, superior strength and durability. At a mixing ratio of 1 part SealBoss® FlexGel to 10 parts water by volume, the mixed product has a super low viscosity of 50 cps. The product is capable of incorporating large amounts of water into itself, thereby forming a waterproofing gel. The ability of SealBoss® FlexGel to swell and increase in volume due to water absorption is one of the important features that differentiate hydrophilic grouts from their hydrophobic counterparts. SealBoss® FlexGel is certified for water contact in accordance with NSF standard 61, for contact with potable water. SealBoss® FlexGel can either react to a foam or a gel on contact with water based on the mixing ratio. To achieve most satisfying and permanent results, a combination of SealBoss® FlexGel with other systems of our product line may be advised. Ask your SealBoss® technician for details. Hydrophilic Example 2

SealBoss® 2400 SealGel SLV Acrylate is an envoironmentally friendly, super low viscosity, two component hydrophilic polyacrylate gel with accelerator. The product offers outstanding penetration properties similar to plain water. The SealBoss® 2400 SLV Acrylate flows extremely well into the finest cracks and fissures thereby sealing hairline cracks and porous structures such as masonry, cementitious grouts, blocks and brick. The product is suited for curtain / bladder injection by sealing along the structure as well as solidifying the soil in the proximity of the structure. Areas of application are numerous including the sealing of tunnels, shafts and canal systems, retaining and structural walls , expansion joints, cold joints and cracks. Uncured product can be flushed with water. The product is for professional use. Properties SealBoss® 2400 SLV Acrylate is a high-grade, polyacrylic, ultra low viscosity injection gel with excellent sealing qualities. The material is characterized by its high flexibility, strength and tolerance for movement. SealBoss® 2400 SLV Acrylate reacts to form a waterproof, flexible, but solid gel with outstanding adhesion to dry and wet mineral surfaces. In a moisture-vapor saturated environment the material remains stable in volume. In the case of alternating dry and wet periods, the gel can shrink and swell.
